A cycle down Glenfeshie

Last weekend I got on my bike and together with my daughter Jenny, did a 60K cycle following the path of the River Feshie - not bad for an old bird (even if it was an e-bike!).

As some of you will know Glens and Straths are both terms for river valleys. I've talked in previous posts about Strathspey and Badenoch. Badenoch translated as drowned lands due to the fact that this was the wide floodplain of the mighty River Spey. While a strath is a broad floodplain, a glen by contrast is a steep sided valley and Glenfeshie is a good example.

Here are a few pictures from the day together with a couple of videos. I hope that they can do justice to the beautiful scenery!
